Improvers

AFI is known for its extensive range of bread- and bun improvers within the baking industry. A variety of improvers have been developed to promote specific ranges of baked goods including white, brown- & wholewheat bread; crisp- and soft bun & rolls; tortillas; pizza bases; and dough conditioners which have been designed for multifunctional bakery applications. AFI can be consulted to develop improver systems for bread & buns with market leading characteristics in terms of colour and crust enhancement, fermentation control and consistency, and to improve texture and extend shelf life. Improver systems are modified according to client specifications to meet the requirements that need to be ascribed to.
